Lab Director: Dr. Alexandra Gaynor, Ph.D.
Alexandra holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience from The Graduate Center at The City University of New York (CUNY), and completed postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). She joined Montclair State University in 2023 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Her research is focused on the effects of cognitive reserve and disease history on neurocognitive function, and the potential for brain stimulation to improve cognition in healthy and clinical populations. In addition to being a member of the MSU Interdisciplinary Collaborative on Aging, Alexandra also maintains active collaborations with researchers at CUNY, MSKCC, and CUMC.
